Coming up against PPs

Basically in three separate tournaments over the past 24h I have been knocked out when i hit top pair with an overcard or 2 pair. Only to lose to a pocket pair.

The first example was a a bad hand, but I was in the BB and flopped two- pair

Here I got played like a fiddle...

First hand should have been folded pre flop. If you put one guy on a random hand, a second guy on a pair and a 3rd guy on any two broadway cards you are only getting about 15% equity.

2nd hand should have been folded on the river. You only have 2nd pair with a paired board facing a raise. Also shouldn't limp in with AJ

I thought so too with the first hand, but with blinds at 3k/6k i had less than 10 BBs.

When i got min raised I thought "might as well see the flop" as I was inn the BB. But I shouldn't be playing marginal hands full stop.

I generally play AJ more aggressively, but have lost a lot of money coming up against AQ or AK in this very tournament (will post the hand later, got to search my HH)

His bets seemed so weak but looking back I am actually embarrased how I got played!

first hand should have been folded or shoved if you think you have a tight image
If you play trash and lose that's your fault
2nd hand should have pushed on the flop or I agee with other person. fold on the river. Looked early in tourney
