Chopped for $1045 in live tourney last night

Decided to head to the local casino last night and play the 7:15PM $100 buyin NLHE tourney....Knowing that I had to be to work today at 6:30AM, I determined that if I was going to play, I had to cash, and cash big to make it worth the lack of sleep I would be getting....End result....87 players, chopped it 5 ways as we were all very close to even....Also I felt I had used up most of my luck on the hand where my 99 went up against AQ on a flop of AAQ and I hit runner runner 9's to win the pot, and cause a slight meltdown on the part of my opponent. I felt good chopping for $1045 as only first paid more(1800) and it was approaching 1:00AM and I was extremely tired. Have to say I was rather pleased with the result.

$1045 in the hand is better than who knows what in the bush. Sounds like you have 10 buyins to that tournament now. Can afford to take the day after off work and say no to a split in the future, lol.

Hey that was a very nice win and those quad 9's I bet that dude was ready to reach out and grab chips great hand. Being an ex-trucker and winning a tad over 1K I might of been tempted to take a personal day off from work. Nice chop and a real nice win congrats.
