without reads it's hard to know. is this a 180man? final table? (obviously not a final table of a 180 man)

if we are not at final table, then it's an easy shove. bit worried about the CO flat call, looks a bit trappy, but at this buyin level, i'd expect a lot worse than JJ. it's a 3 way pot, but the utg raiser we're not too worried about, since he has very few chips, he will dent our stack if we lose, but not cripple us completely. also, he could just fold, it's unlikely but i think theres a little Fold equity in this spot.

if this is a final table, it becomes trickier, since we're second in chips going up against the chip leader, but most of the time unless you have some read, we're going to get this all in, and we're going to lose just like you did, ul.

yeah this isn't horrible i dont think. bit more of a risk averse way of playing, basically we're calling with the intention of going all in on the flop if no ace or king hits. basically we're likely flipping here a lot, or up against a smaller pair. so we're essentially avoiding an all in showdown here preflop. players are much likely to fold postflop.

i guess it's up to you, me personally i want to take on this race, accept the high risk/high reward, because the buyin level is insignificant to me, and also if we win this race, we will have a huge stack of chips, be the new chip leader and use those chips to steamroll out way to a win (hopefully).

Thanks, 63 vp and 20 pr. So yea maybe calling the raise would have been better because everyone else had 2bb except for one other player who had 4 bb. So it was likely i could have easily got at least 3rd or 4th at worst. It has an icm thingy on poker tracker i will check it out.

And fourth is 3x as much money as 7th

And yes 1$ 180 hyper final table

oh god, against a 63vpip just shove and be really happy about it. the reason being is that bad players find it hard to fold pre flop but can easily fold when they miss post flop.

the clear play now is to shove and be really happy about it

Against 63 vpip, snap shove. In addition to what Wizzim said, it's fine if he happens to fold. If he calls, you're probably okay against his range. And if you're playing within your BR, moving up a couple of spots shouldn't be much of a consideration.
