Deep in a mid buy in live $160 MTT at my casino I had a tough decision. With 7 players left at 45 chip average in a 4 players being paid structure hero looks down at K 10 os. Hero is in bb with 300/1000/2000 and only 20bb. Table folds to Villian S/B who is a solid but aggressive player shoves all in. Would you guys fold or call?

Fold.

20BB is way more than enough and you dont need to be calling and guessing.

10BB< I call.

20BB is more than enough to hang in there and find better spots and better position to be making moves.

if he shove in the sb with everybody folding to him, maybe he held an speculative hand or worse, maybe Ax, Kx, broadway, low pair, suited connectors, so if you shove maybe you were in a coin flip, so depending on your feeling of how he was playing you could have called or not

How deep is villain?

Certainly not calling off 20bb if he has you covered.

Definitely not a tough decision. Insta-muck unless villain is shortstacked.

20BB this big stack what call marginal hand KTo, I am inclined fold, but if villain aggrasive have deep stack fold, if villane have approximately as if you stack I would consider call, but this is a controversial decision, better fold..

If villain had <5BB I would call. Otherwise, easy fold. You're behind any ace, any PP, he could also easily have KJ/KQ which is again bad news. There's too many hands out there that you're trailing, not worth risking your whole stack here and with 20BB your back's not up against the wall just yet.

How deep is villain?

thats the most important question. how much stack does villain have?... if he has less than 10 bb thats an automatic call, however if he covers you, folding may be a good choice here because if are deep enough to wait for a better spot and also you are not itm yet, so why would you risk all your stack, with hands thats isnt so strong?

k10 off

I would probably fold in this situation, you have to figure he has at least an ace in which your the dog, unless, his stack size is 4 or five times bigger than yours then he can afford to gamble on you folding

Fold in this spot. The true power of a 20 bb stack is in shoving over the top of a villains raise. Calling is spewy.

But what was his stack size? I would probably call off in this spot if he had 10 or less bbs.

easy fold from this spot....let your opponent take the 1.5bbs in the pot....your deep enough with 20bbs to where you can hang around for awhile and play postflop...I wouldn't even consider your situation shove/fold mode....if u have under 8bbs or so...I snap call there

if he is whery aggresive, he can have any A+ and almost any K+, that's why in 20% you can call this type of the player, better if you have suited K10, and even if he has A 9-2, you have 6 outs and sometimes flush, street dro
