All in with AKo post flop IT was the first hand of the SNG, and I had AKoff. The guy before me raised to 60. I then re-raised to 160. The flop came out 7 5 7. He checked so I then bet out half the pot. The same guy then raised me all in. I called, and he turned over 52o. the turn and the river were blanks for me. So I lost. Did I play this the right way? Or should I have played it differently?

I would say you played it totally bad. In the begin you should play tighter and only put a lot of chips in the pot with a good made hand. Later on with higher blinds you can play a lot wider range agressive and AK is almost always a no brainer than.

couple of things i would of done.. 1st since it the 1st hand of the match i would not been very aggressive on your hand i would of just cold call , and bet the flop to see where i was in the hand. when he raise all in with out any information on your opt. i would of just folded when he raise my bet. But that just me on this hand...and how i would of done things

imo if ur gonna play AK like that you gota be prepaird to fold unless u wanna gamble. your still drawing. its ok to let it go theres other hands thatll will come. people dont usually push all in with nothing. and yea its still early in the game.

re: All in with AKo post flop poker Oh my. So many people think that AKo is a GOLDEN hand and that you can't fold it. You definitely played it wrong. I mean, he reshoved you all in.... FOLD YOUR AK ALREADY.... >.<.. I don't care what he has, just get him another time, I mean . . . the tournament just started.
