Absolute Poker Step SNG's I wanted to hear some thoughts on the Absolute (and probally UB) Step tourneys. There are 10 steps, 9 ppl SNGs, starting out with step 1 at 10 cents. Most have a structure of 1st-2nd place advancing, 3rd staying, and 4th going down a step. Has anybody tried these? At the very least it seems like it would be great practice once you get to the 6th step and beyond. You don't get any money or prizes until the 10th and final step though.

Yeah I played in a few with some money I got from the their $50 freeroll. I actually made it to step 6 before my Full House lost to quad 6's and went out in 8th place. If I remember correctly up in the higher levels(I think its like Step10) I'm pretty sure you can play for some Aruba Classic packages. But it is ok practice as you get up a few steps because the first few are pretty weak.

re: Absolute Poker Step SNG's I think if you bought into 10 $1 Step 4's you would have a decent chance to go pretty high. You can generate at least 5, probally more like 7 or 8 tickets that you can use to try to advance upwards. I think its worth a shot, alot better then paying $10 for step 5.
