That would be horrendous.

BVB, this is standard to get it in with all the dead money.

SB should of just shoved on you which would of been the right play + you snap call.

Just varience he's not a "donk", maybe he just raised to look stronger I dunno..but he's never folding regardless.

OP: I'm probably shoving most of my range here vs you, maybe even any two depending on your image.

I'm really TAG, was playing about 14 10 and I would get the open shove and I would prob fold and get it the money as I was just a little below avg, but his call then it's preety bad right?
he's getting 1.8 against a TAG play who's shoving at bubble time, i mean it could be a move but K2 has no equity his almost dead with most of my range

oh and btw he is kinda of a donkie

It's pretty close call if he just puts you on a value range. Not including just a complete air resteal.

oh well, if you're around bubble or bubble play, I would fold with small pair, just to get ITM or call if it's not to expensive.
I think you played wrong with small pair raising all in in bubble play.

Just my $.02 on this matter.

would it have been better to loose to a tag or nit vs a donk? the results are the same you still loose, now consider this1 spot before you are in the money everyone is gonna play tight, some might even fold preflop to avoid getting lower in chips, pocket 5's in my opinion are very low,i would only call the bb with hoping to get lucky, your play was wrong to push all in preflop, you did have a good read and yes there will always be donks willing to be bubble boy, this one just got lucky.
just my ho

If you're playing MTT's to get in the money, then you're doing it all wrong.

What you're suggesting is completely the opposite of what you should be doing.

You are so wrong and way off.

If you're folding 55 in this spot with 3k in the middle and being <10bbs then you're in the wrong game, bubble or not. We don't play to min cash; we play to win. If you fold this spot; you're giving up EV for for a min cash; why even bother playing the MTT in the first place? I'd rather play a heads up for a few minutes to doulbe my buy-in and save the hassle of playing for hours just to min cash.

raise/call w K2s is bad in this spot imo. (he'd be far better off to just ship it pre)

Re-raising allin here BvB with 55 is super standard (folding &/or calling would be horrendous)
