| I played a $216 game on Full Tilt before and I was freaking out a bit. Don't do that. Best advice I could give is not to play scared. Be aggressive but not overly so. Observe the other players at the table and stay focused. Re-steal over late position opens. Last and most importantly RUN GOOD! Best of luck. |

| I'll be curious to see how this goes for you. I recently won a $109 ticket, but haven't used it yet because it's way beyond where I usually play (think $2-5 tournaments usually). As far as advice.... I really don't know. I'd definately expect more solid play and way less general "spazziness" early. More controlled aggression, etc, etc. Anyway, GL and update us on your experience. |

| re: 100,000 Merge Guaranteed poker Yeah Guys I am really excited to play this, tournment and your comments are all helpful. I tjought about the whole aggressive play and not playign scared. i noticed that evertime i am about to place in a tournment like when i get middle to late I play scared... I don't make calls when i should and it has screwed me over a bit. but this tournment I think i will try and just put the figures and places aside and just play my cards, my positon, and the poeple. thanks |

| Just play your game like you normally would, the biggest adjustment is that a lot of people are going to play tighter than a low buy in tournament so respect raises/all ins a bit more. Especially on the bubble, for some people that won their seat, just min cashing in this event will be one of the biggest scores they've ever had so they will try to fold their way into the money and you can abuse them until the bubble bursts. |

| Thats Exactly my thoughts DedwardsNJ.... I just need to remember to not be so scared close to the bubble. yesterday I was in a freeroll and I know thats the key word here but We were about to bubble, and I called a 4 times blind bet and flopped top pair 2nd nuts kicker, and turned top two, but becuase there was straight draw and flush draw I folded and was shown a bluff... I should have pulled the trigger on flop at least, but now i wound up losing 1/3 of my chips to get pushed around, which ultimatly caused me to bust out due to blinds elevating. Im a pushover late... |

| Good luck Blind structure moves really slow. Take your time, it is not a turbo and you will be sitting for quite some time. This game the field tends to be smaller too compared to most. A lot of nits most of the time. So if you see them, steal there blinds often. gl |

If you hit it big, consider it taking a shot, meaning don't think you can necessarily drastically change your buy-in level just because you now have a boosted bankroll. I'd consider 75% of your winnings in such a tournament to be set apart from your normal bankroll. Withdraw it, if you're able. Feel free to take the other portion and play, but I would still stick to your normal bankroll management. |

Also, I was thinking of selling the $109 ticket on Carbon for the BR boost since its above where I usually play, but it seems that Carbon offered this for a short while, or was toying with the idea of offering it, and since has scrapped that plan. Any ideas on this? |
