| Also there is a big difference in MTT strategy depending upon your goals. If you are just aiming to cash your strat is different than if you are only going for the FT or the win. You need to have perhaps 4 goals in a tourney and then reassess them once you reach each one. You must make sure you are in position to reach your goals at each stage of the tourney and switch your playing style to achieve those goals. |

| re: Winning MTT and SNG players!!!! poker Well for sitngos i mostly agree with muckets here. Play a tight game and then its very important to use icm to outplay your opponents. While all of these factors are important, of the ones you listed discipline and icm are imo the most important. |

SnG's are easy Tight is right.. MTT's you have to steal blinds, also play tight at the start.. I posted a sample base, of hands, there based on SnG's. But i don't think i will be handing out my MTT hand data. You can find a great start here>>http://www.cardschat.com/poker-strategy.php |

| re: Winning MTT and SNG players!!!! poker If you are playing tight til the field is down to five or four. What you need to do now is learn something about shorthanded play. For example connectors lose value and medium pairs gain value. This is just one example but you should get the idea from it.Also as always position is important. |
