| A BIG win at a table, especially in freerolls, means that 2 or more players at your table are knocked out. So there are empty seats, this at several tables. Usually they shut down the table with the least remaining players and put them on tables where only one seat is open... If you win big, knocking out players, you get MOVED!! |

| yeah, usually the winner get moved.but i dont like that.i am the winner,i have played at table for a period of time,i know something about other player at the table.after i get moved,i have to observe other player again.i think the least stack player should be moved. |

A player just paying the Blinds should not be moved to a table where the open seat is the Blinds - again. If keeping a seat means that much to you, then ring games are the only thing that will do that. BTW - it's not just in freerolls. It's in every online and live MTT you will ever play, regardless of the amount of the buy-in. |

| re: why take you to another table after big win poker Well obviously as players are knocked out and tables dissolve, they remaining players are moved to empty seats. But they also fill up the empty seats in a way that will even out the chips/table. So if you just won a massive pot and eliminated 3 players, you can be moved to a table with shorter stacks to even everything out. |

| I would say it is table rotation. I believe they try to keep the tables and chips all as even as they can until you start getting down to the end. This way you won't have a table with 2 huge chip stacks and everyone else ready to be blinded out. |

But often I've won a big hand and didn't get moved. Or 2 people are taken down and no one gets moved, they moved others to MY. table. There's just no telling what will happen. Agree it is annoying to be moved. I like to sit out the first round or 2 completely unless I have something major, and get reads. |

| It can have good effects also. I mean, when you have been at a table for a while and a new guy/gal gets sat you have no idea how he plays. And if he has a large stack, hmmmmm. If your that guy/gal same effect on other players. But ya, sometimes it is annoying. Seems to always happen when I find a friendly table, then I get moved to the table with the biggest whiner in the world. You know the guy who crys when his pocket 2s get beat and he cant beleive the other guy called with 9 10 suited. |

| I noticed that the other day. They have to keep the tables balanced and some people had just got KO'd. I went back to my old table about two hands later, same seat. LOL. Everytime I win a big hand and they move me to another table, I go back and look and someone else has been move to my hot seat. I hate that. X |

| well reading the above comments i agree but sometimes its probably best to move u when u run into the kind of people that rag u cause u were in the hand with the bb and happen to hit or when u suckout at least they dont get the chance but most is because of balancing of the tables |

I know this thread started with specifying 'in freerolls', but it's no different at buy-in tourneys - at ANY level buy-in. Buy into the Sunday Million on Stars (I think it's $215) and see how many times you get moved ... |
