why don't some donks improve? When I check out my tablemates at pokertableratings.com, I see that some of them have lost thousands of dollars over thousands of hands of micro stakes poker. And their profit curve is heading down more than up, showing no improvement over time. Are they just incapable of gaining more understanding of how to play and tighten up? I mean if I was losing money consistently, I would either stop or think about what I am doing wrong.

A lot of people are content to play poker recreationally, just like any other casino/table game. Put their money in and then see if they win or not. Taking time to learn the game by reading and discussing isn't for everyone. Plus, even as losing players, it is still pretty cheap compared to most other types of entertainment.

They dont see a problem with the way they play. A lot of time you see donks rewarded. Look at Durr he makes millions he loses alot too but he does not change his ways. Most people you think play bad think they are great. I have friend who has lost tons of money playing poker he gets up but spends it all back. He does not see the problem cuz soometimes he is up in chips. He also won a bad beat for over 100,000 so he will never see a problem with it. He spent over 40.0000 back al he sees is his gain. Soome people are just addicts.
