| Where are Player Statistics sites? I was recently playing in a tournament and a player put my name into some site log and my onlie stats for Full Tilt came up for him.... I know these sites exist but I never used them.... now I am at a point in my game where I think this might be helpful.... Can someone please post a few suggestions for the best site for doing this kind of thing... I would prefer if it was free but all options are welcome... Thanks everyone who replys... |

| This is one and its Free..But don't use it while you are playing at pokerstars or Tilt. http://www.officialpokerrankings.com/ Some pokersites have banned the use of these during play..you can check out stats prior too or after your playing at a site. |

| There are several you could use. For MTT's and SnG's I use officialpokerrankings.com - usually referred to just by OPR. It does not give ring game stats, and on many of the rankings sites, players can also block their site ID's from being found by their request at that site. |

| re: Where are Player Statistics sites? poker Is it actually against the rules to use OPR during gameplay on Pokerstars and FTilt? Damn, now I have to go and look. I hate plowing through rules. I had my stats on OPR blocked, because I think it is advantageous to look up your opponants' stats, particularly to know if they have been successful lately, and if they are moving up and down in class. |

| The majority of poker players are egotistical at heart, there's usually only one reason why somebody would block themselves from a site like that and thats to protect said ego imo If you're a good player why stop other people knowing that fact, chances are if your a reg at a certain limit then other regs (who are most likely to use a site like that) will know your a good player anyways. I've got 700 hands on a guy at 5nl and i don't have to search for him to know i should keep clear b/c my hud tells me he's up a good amount over 700 hands. |

| http://www.pokerstars.com/poker/room/prohibited/ It appears to me that using OPR during a game is not prohibited. For one thing, it is not listed as prohibited.
In general, what kinds of tools and services are prohibited?
The following types of tools and services are prohibited:
Orangepeelio, I simply feel that the less info my opponants have about me, the better it is for me. |

| I have never claimed to be a good player, but personally I resent a company like SharkScope charging people for information about me without having asked my permission first. As regards protecting the ego by asking these sites to remove your details, it's obvious that this is always going to be a losing battle. Even assuming that it was possible to find all the companies like SharkScope that mine data and sell it on, and to tell them all not to give out information about you, there will still be hordes of people that are playing against you and are tracking your statistics on various types of software. |

| OPR is legal, Pokerstars support answer No, OPR is allowed. As you know, all entrants and prize money information is displayed in our tournament lobbies, and those lobbies can be opened by any player. As a result, if a player was dedicated enough, they could write down all those results, and compile information regarding any individual player's results. We are aware that there are some websites who do this and make the information publicly available. They are not affiliated with PokerStars in any way, and do not have any information which cannot be obtained by simply opening tournament lobbies and recording the information. Some of the sites that you *can* use include: http://www.bluffmagazine.com/thepokerdb/ http://www.officialpokerrankings.com http://arcatum.net/startracker http://www.playerpeek.com/ http://www.pokerprolabs.com Further, we are aware that there are other websites that breach our rules by publishing more information than we permit. As a result, PokerStars is working on efforts to limit the effectiveness of these sites by preventing their ability to extract the data from the PokerStars client without either the permission of PokerStars, or the players concerned. I hope this has answered your question completely. Good luck in your games, and thank you for playing on PokerStars. Regards, Julio PokerStars Support Team |

| www.pokerprolabs.com/topshark (as mentioned above). This site is free and has an easy-to-use filter on it, so you can see exactly how your opponent is doing (ie. for sngs you can track 6-plyr. 9, etc., and can track dates (ie. 30days, 6mos., all data, etc.), buyin levels, etc. etc. The site also rates each player in mtts, sngs, & HU, and assigns them a symbol (ie. 2-***, to J-**, A-*****, etc.). I find it pretty useful as well as easy to use (much easier to use than OPR, more specific filters and easy to read display where you can have all the opponents on your table displayed at the same time in a list, & then can also click on 'rating' and it lists them in order from best to worst. Goal,... A-***** lol |

| re: Where are Player Statistics sites? poker As always when i post a link, feel free to remove it if not tolerate. I thought i could add this one, hoping that could help. This is only an informative place to have some advice in your opponents and even sometimes you could laugh at your friends ranking. http://www.pokerlistings.com/market-...-player-search Here is the result for a search on some AKA at Tilt. ![]() ![]() Last edited by hojediade : 14th March 2009 at 9:14 AM.
