When you don't have the cards. Do you really have to fold 550,000 times and check your blinds to wait for a playable hand while the blinds leech your roll? Or do you have to force donk bets and rely on your table image to get people to fold? I can't seem to find an answer to slow sessions and/or bad beats. I fold til the wee hours sometimes but I always reach a point where I feel trapped in Nitville and couldn't sell a bluff to save my life. But, I end up doing it anyway if I get something marginal like JA or even a T8o hoping for a straight. And well, it doesn't work out and I feel like spraying the place with an Uzi. On the other side I have tried being aggressive and have had success stealing blinds and limps but never have any clout when the pots get bigger. So I end up donking it up and losing my roll and then want to spray the place with an Uzi. Any thoughts would be just neato.

Well first of all you have to be aware that there is something in your playing style that is causing you to lose constantly. I mean if you keep loosing your role, the others are winning it so they are playing in a manner that is better than yours. Now, about folding your hands constantly... this depends on how many people there are on the table. If its a full table, then its very important for you to be playing a good hand. The reason for this is because there are more people playing against you, meaning that there is a bigger chance of someone on the table having a good hand to play back at you. So in this case its good to go in the pots only with premium hands, even if you have to follldd so many hands. Eventually youll catch something, and youll win a lot of money from the other guys that just cantttt take waiting... like u are currently. But if you are playing heads up or with only a few people, you have to start playing more hands cause by waiting for the premium hands, the blinds would have caused you to loose a big part of your role, especially since you are becoming BB and SB more often in a lesshanded table. Hope this helps.

I mostly play micro stakes ring games. There is not much room for bluffing at that level since most people seem to be perfectly willing to raise and reraise with ridiculous hands over and over. Good for them if it works but I try not to raise too much unless I can put a lot of pressure on them. This means I tend to throw away a lot of cards. However, I do not want to give my opponents the impression that I only play premium hands. I will gladly fold twice in a row, but by the 3rd or 4th hand I will make a strong effort to at least see the flop, even if I was dealt some junk like 3 7 offsuit.
