| What is the most profitable stakes to play, compared to bankroll? I started playing TexasHoldem in Jan. of 2008, I started on a free site (pureplay), i think, anyway, after a couple months of that, I moved to absolute and deposited $100, I played only low stake buy-in, GTD money tourneys and done ok, won a $2000 gtd, $1500 gtd, and made the final table several more times over the next few months, anyway, about 6 months ago, I started playing mostly 6 max cash games, I play at 4 sites, my bankroll's are from $65, $90, $160, and $250 and my question is, with what bankroll's I have, what stakes do you think I should be playing? I usually play the $.10/$.25, or the $.25/$.50 games and it always seems to me, the lower the stakes, the more idiot calls you get, so I was just wondering, compared to bankroll's that I have, which is not much, LOL, what stakes should I be playing to have the best change at building them? Thanks, RollTide70 |

| Woah......ummm so right now, you're on the road to busto whether you know it or not. $25nl is way too high for all those rolls, you want at least 20 buy-ins for variance related happenings (which will come at some point). Today alone I ended 6 buy-ins below expectation. With less than $200, stick to $2nl and $5nl. With $250 you can play $10nl. As far as building your roll goes, the lower the stakes, the easier the money comes in. If you should be playing at 25-50nl or higher, you will be there soon enough by crushing the players in the lower games without an unnecessarily high risk of ruin. Bankroll Management |
