| wa/wb - google is my friend :) not 2day Is the whole concept behind this idea - that when ur either WA/WB it's better to reach a SD. As when you bet you only fold out the hands that you beat, and when your betting ur only getting called by hands that r ahead of u. So ur basically value betting for the villian? Can i give an e.g Say i've got 99 and the board is Q72, i'm assuming this is a valid spot to use wa/wb and just look to call one bet and SD. I think my usual line would be to bet the flop and get the information i require..which probably isn't the greatest line. The only problem i'm seeing is that if your OOP ur then polarising your range as being a weak SD type hand. Especially if you check 3times. Actually that is a irrelevant..if you also play some TPTK the same way. I hope i'm right on this one. I'm looking to increase my BB/100 for my next 10k and i want to limit my AGG..As i think i have some leaks by being somewhat OTT at times |

| Read this: The WA/WB concept Betting when you're OOP can be a better option than checking. Betting is probably also correct, even IP, if we hold say 99 on a Q72 board because there are so many overcards that can hit that will cost us the hand. |
