| Stats vs Range Is there somewhere that could give me a good idea what a villain's preflop range is based off of his stats? Like 2/2 is AA/KK only or 10/4 is premium + set miner. I know you can't tell exactly their range but right now I'm only taking guesses like the above and any kind of assistance would be helpful. |

| re: Stats vs Range poker I think AA & KK and all variations are like 2.6%. You can look at poker stove and use a graph of hands and as you highlight hands it tells you the percentage used. I saw a video where someone else was doing this. VPiP and PFR are easier to navigate but I use the actual stat to range conversion most with 3betting right now. I know that someone who 3bets less than 7% isnt out of line because that represents like AA, KK, QQ, AKs AKo and on the opposite side someone whos 3betting 12% + is obv. 3betting light which makes them a canidate for 4bet bluffing. But be careful because the amount of hands plays an important role in deciphering. Good Luck. |
