| I try not to do so much math. I usually start loosening up and shoving if my stack gets under 6-10 Big Blinds and I get Ace-anything over a 6, any two face cards(including 10's), any medium connectors and just about any suited connector, or face card suited with anything else. The only time I may not do that is if I am close to being in the money. ~H |

| re: Shoving poker It depends on the time in the tourney... if late like on the bubble then you would wait until like 2 but if early i would wait till like maybe 4... Also it depends on your objective...if you play to win the tournament then don't wait past 5, maybe wait to play a hand with 5 to 1 pot odds and go all-in no matter what you have. This really depends on you, the blind structure and the way your luck has been going. The pros will tell you to never give up and wait on a hand. However online tournaments are fast, like 10 minutes blinds, so you can't wait to long. |
