| "Schooling" Patience Raising a champion horse takes "schooling." That's repetitive workouts n challenges 'til the horse is practically push-button in its taskings. This builds muscle tone, endurance, and self-confidence. A good way to train [school] yourself in patience would be to enter low entry games or tourneys. One of my favorite tourneys is the "double or nothing" Sit and Go (SnG) games at Pokerstars. If you are tolerant and patient to be among the final 5 players at a 10-person table, you will win an amount double your entry fee; well, not exactly double. For example, enter a $1.10 [double or nothing] tourney ($.10 goes to PokerStars), play the rounds through 'til only 5 remain, and you win $2.00 . |
