| re: reraising your own raise is it legal poker because player b could not put in min raise which would have to have been 2400 surely the 100 was not a legal raise and players c was right to just put 1300 in and player a can only match that not reraise again Last edited by vodkastr8 : 10th November 2009 at 2:14 PM. |

| When the action is on player b he can raise call or fold, he can go all in if he likes asuming the game is no limit, If he was deeper stacked he would not have the option to only raise 100 but in this case he can Because the 100 raise is not a full reraise when the action returns to player a his only options are to call or fold he cannot reraise. |

Example #1: A has 2000 B has 600 C has 3000 A bets 500, B shoves (100 more), C calls. Action is over because B did not make a legal re-raise (which is the amount that A raised) Example #2: A has 2000 B has 600 C has 3000 A bets 200, B shoves (400 more), C calls.... A can raise if he wants because B put enough in for it to be a legal re-raise. |

Situation in the OP is the same, B has raised less than the minimum so A can call or fold but he can't raise. |

I haven`t noticed this and never put this into action at the tables. Never crossed my mind to make a raise with a monster so that a short stack can shove so much that it`s considered as a raise ,so you have still the action if another player calls the shove. Have to keep that in mind. Thanks AG. |
