| Regular Speed v. Fast Tables (FR) I have a hunch but wanted to know what all of your points of view. I recently moved ot the FR cash games and I am grinding the micro's. My question is do the better players seem to congregate to the fast tables rather than the slower "regular" tables? To me it seems that they do because better players don't have to think so much about what they are doing. Anway I wanted to know what you all thought as I don't remember seeing it posted before, even though I am sure it was. Last edited by Steveg1976 : 27th October 2008 at 10:01 PM. Reason: spelling |

| re: Regular Speed v. Fast Tables (FR) poker Honestly it is something that I have never ever considered or even looked at. The only "thing" about a table I'll consider is the 50bb min-buyin ones which I do prefer, especially if they are loose! |

I am not to worried at 2nl about it, it isn't likely that I will run into a good play, but I have been thinking about this and find it very possible. |

| When I first started and was a scared noob, I'd pick the slower tables. When I started multi-tabling, I'd make sure that some were nor fast. Nowdays I don't even pay attention to the table's speed. I think the slow tables might be an itty-bitty-bit more conservative and the faster ones might be a little more aggressive. IMO, a good player is going to pick tables based on how people at that table are playing (table stats), *not* on how fast the table is. If I see a table with good stats I don't pay any attention to whether or not it's fast. |
