| Rake Calculator for Micros Hey, I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find a rake calculator for micro stakes. Or at least tell me/show me the formula they use for determining the rake. On most rake/rakeback calculators, the lowest limit they provide is 50nl. I'm trying to find the rake calculation for 2nl-10nl. Any help is appreciated. |

| http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/rake.php http://www.pokerstars.com/poker/room/rake/ That's how you calculate your rake. I am not sure that is exactly what you're looking for. Are you just looking to see approximately how much rake you're generating with a given number of hands or what? If you have HEM, it shows you how much rake you've paid in your sessions tab and if you're trying to find out how much rakeback you're going to get, you just take that total of all of your sessions and then multiply it by whatever percentage you're getting in rakeback(FT, most likely .27). Hope that helps phil, but I'm not 100% sure if it did, lol |

| re: Rake Calculator for Micros poker Thanks C9. A.Ham-I am trying to figure out how much (on average) rake I pay when I play 2nl. Say I play 16 tables @ 2nl for 5 hours-how much rake am I paying on a daily/weekly/monthly basis. Other calculators do this for you, but usually start at 50nl as the lowest. |

| Oh I see. Well find out what your avg # of hands is per hour, then look on that graph that C9 posted(ironic that that was posted just the other day, I haven't been on PTR for 3 days, so I was surprised to see that) Then plug into the formula: (Approx. # Hands an hour)/100 * (Number on grid from PTR) = Your Hourly Rake If you're playing 5 hours a day, then just multiply that number by 5 and you've got your daily. To get weekly, just multiply your daily by 7. So on, so on. So let's say you play about 75 hands an hour on 16 tables, that would be 1,200 hands that you're playing an hour. Let's also say you're playing on Stars which at 2NL is paying .20 per 100 hands in rake. (1,200/100)*.2 = $2.40 Hourly rake 2.40*5 = $12 Daily Rake 12*7 = $84 Weekly Rake 84*4 = $336 Monthly Rake 336*12 = $4,032 Yearly Rake 4,032*100 = $403,200 Century Rake Granted these are all approximations because they are using the average rake a player gets hit with at a given site, but if your pots are bigger then you're going to get hit with more rake than if your pots are small.
