Pokerstars school online (PSO) Just curious as to how many members have looked at this? I passed the 'core' quiz with 100% and have been dipping into the league games ever since. Since reading up about the scoring (and seeing that first place was $17,500!) I decided to have a real run at this this month. I'm currently sitting 1050 ish out of 10,000+ players, with anyone in the top 1000 getting a free $3. I've only played 15 or so games this month, although there are loads everyday, its easy to grind 4 per day if you have time. If I can almost hit a cash spot after that volume, anyone here can too. This is miles better than the Full Tilt academy in my opinion. Just passed the SnG quiz on my 5th attempt, which gets me a $20 bonus when I re-load too. Anyone who hasn't looked into this really should, its helped me loads this month.

The league tournaments are freerolls with minimum payout but they rank the players monthly and pay serious money to the top finishers each month. The tourney structure is the usual freeroll set up: Blinds go up fast and unless you double up early you are in shove or fold spots real soon. If you have the time and like MTT's the monthly prize fund is large and the fields are soft. I much prefer cash games but PSO could be a great option for someone looking to freeroll a bankroll.

I joined and passed the core quizz on the first try. Nothing really hard about that. I am in the process of going through the rest of the lessons etc to see where I am at. Of course I am in it for the learning experience but mainly for the free rolls etc. Seems a good way of learning and possibly getting a litte money in the process.

re: Pokerstars school online (PSO) I was in the freerolls in the beginning of this month. Some kind of community evolves around these leagues which is great. However I stopped because every tourney I played a number of people always were playing on time, hoping that other tables were playing more hands than their own table. This meant that the tempo was petrifying as more and more players were using all the time they could get, and I was disgusted. I'd like to hear if others have experienced the same or not.

thanks for the post This one game or leauge i have overlooked. It is a great tool for advancing your game. I gotta get back to the basics and start playing the pso games again. I did ok when it first started but pretty much put em on the back burner.
