Poker book question I know CC is already a good source of information. But If I was looking for a good book involving both tournament strategy and cash strategy, what would be my best option. Just a side note, I am not looking for a book about basic play, but somewhat more advanced topics.

Dan Harrington!! He has one for tournaments called Harrington on Holdem volumes 1-3. These are pretty much the best books on tournaments! Volume 1 is covers alot of the basics and is a good refresher! Volume 2 is very good! this covers more advanced tournament situations! Volume 3 is a workbook thats not really needed but is a good source of information! He also has a two volume set on cash games as well. I have not read the cash game ones yet but plan to in the near future. From what I hear they are very good books!

Harington on Holdem. Harington on Cash. No limit Theory and Practise. Profesional NL. Any of the above would be a great investment for any ones game imo. |

[quote=sindri_93;1169615] Harington on Holdem. Harington on Cash. No limit Theory and Practise. Profesional NL. [quote] ^^ is a great start I would also recommend Colin Moshman's Sit & Go Strategy which is excellent for stealing blinds in S&G's/Tournaments and covers High Blind play very well as well as ICM.

re: Poker & Poker book question I know H on Cash and Pr. NL H both cover full ring, which would you recommend ? I have read a lot of negative feedback on these books too Does anyone know what the accomplished cash game players here think about them ?
