When starting out in ploker what are your goals and what comes first ? Are you all geared up and ready to win the money and go big because you have seen the money that can be won in tourneys ?
Are we putting the cart before the horse in this case ? ( winning the money before we have learned the game ). What are you (ask yourself) trying to accomplish and are going in the right direction with the proper route being taken ?
I have talked with many players and have ask many questions and the most over looked part is learning the game . You cant consistently win money and play in big tourneys if the money is the only purpose to play and not learn the proper way to play and read the table and so on ?
Because of this players have so many leaks and cant understand things because they have jumped past areas and have little to no knowledge in some areas that makes no sense when others try to give some advice.
Ask your self what are you doing wining money or learning the game ? If you say both how can you win money and learn the game ? Doesnt the money Influence how you play ? How can you play the cards and the players the way they need to be played if the money comes first?
Just some thing I like to point out when players are learning
Have a great Day at the tables and may your skills over ride the luck factor .
