Omaha outs This is kinda a random question. I don't play Omaha except for maybe recreation, and here's one reason why.....One, I'm very inexperienced...Two, Im unfamilliar with the odds... In Omaha when you are calculating pot odds and outs, do you not have to make an adjustment to counting outs being that everyone has four cards instead of two...let's say you are playing full ring (i dunno if there even is 6max) and have an oesd...there should be eight outs that help you...so 36 cards have been dealt...and 3 to flop. That means 8 of 13 cards could complete your hand....I'm sure this isn't how it works, but what do you do to make decisions? Just evaluate your hand strength as is and wait for monsters?....

Count your outs the exact same way as you would in NLHE. Don't change them just because the other players are all holding more cards. The odds of you hitting your hand based on those outs is slightly higher in Omaha though because there are two less unknown cards (the extra two in your hand compared to NLHE).

While you have more outs to make a big hand a lot of the times you are going to have more "dirty" outs that make a bigger hand. Flushes and boats are pretty easy to make in omaha so you always have to watch out for your straights, sets, flushes because they get beat more often than they do in Hold em.
