| The most confusing part about this game when transisioning from hold'em is being able to read your hand correctly consistently. You MUST use 2 cards from your hand. So if you have A23J in your hand and the final board is 289TQ Your high hand is 22AQT not 89TJQ. Also even though you have 3 excellent low cards, there is no low because there are only 2 cards on the board 8 or lower. Reading hands is the first step to playing this game effectively. I recommend watching some games and practice reading the board at each step. Is low avaialble. What is the best low. What is the best high hand. Take note of how the best high hand can, and usually does, change drasticaly with a single card. |
