| No Swag I've been playing poker from home now for 3 years, online mostly and was recently considering reading and studying poker books. My problem isn't simple becuase although i've been playing for a while I still dont know whether or not i have a style if any. The last thing i need right now is to start picking up someones bad habits. So my question is: Should i continue to play until i find my true style then read a few books and add on to my skills or start from scratch and hope i come across my own unique style through a professionals tips and tricks? |

| You have a style whether you know it or not. All poker books are tools take what you want leave the rest. No player or author will say they are always right or there is only one way to play a hand they will just give you an idea how the would play it in the situation again the given opponent. |
