| NEVER check the pre call box on full tilt if the action is near!! So this is kind of a funny story that luckily, was only a freeroll. I multitask a lot and frequently use the pre fold and pre call boxes on full tilt. I have suited connectors on the 2nd hand of the tournament. Action folds around to the button + 1. My attention is not on the freeroll and I see the suited connectors and go to check the call 20 box. Right before I do this, the button + 1 goes all in and my click goes from a call 20 into a call 1500. Whoops! I was against a random that had AJ and lose. I guess I'm lucky that this happened now instead of for large stakes. Be cautious when checking the call ahead of time box!!! |

| I think everyone who plays NL gets stung by that 'click' at least once. If it's more than once, you're not a quick learner. ... Been there, done that, ONCE. Another reason I don't like pre-clicking is that on sites like Stars and UB, they let you know someone is sitting out. When you pre-click the fold button, I had a player immediately click sitting out and my fold then let the blinds go past me and past them and the hand went to another sitter. |
