Multi tabling

Is it good practice to play a headsup $1 +$.10 sng and a 1 cent 2 cent ring game at the same time?

Hmm, not exactly sure what you mean by this really.

Any sort of playing is good for practice really, if you like headsups & FR then sure, play both. Most of the time, it will be directed at the headsup game anyway as you will be folding the vast majority at full ring table so I don't think it will effect you playing headsups and full ring one of each at the same time.

Its a matter of what you want to achieve, but IMO sticking with a single format in a session is the best way to go. If you want to play SnG, play as many tables as you want at the same time, but stick with SnG. If you want to play FR same thing.

I could go on as to why this is, but suffice it to say that when I player search and find a player doing just what you described, they are generally going out of the SnG without cashing.

Seems like a bad idea to me........

Why are you playing HU SNG's? Just curious, because it seems like you're probably a fairly beginning player(the stakes and questions show me this). HU SnG's are going to be much higher variance than a regular SnG and you need to cash in more than about 55% of them to show ANY type of profit, so in order to really be playing in them, you should be positive that you have some significant edge over your opponents, which I'm not sure that you do.

I do agree with fletch though, sticking to one format is going to be your best bet, although you will need to deposit first or score some Freerolls before you start grinding if you were begging for a dollar in another thread...

If you are a casual player, just do whatever the hell you want to .

If you are taking it seriously and wanting to make money, stick to one format and get real good at it.
