multi table games
What is your best strategy at a multi table tourney?? I always seem to get to the point where the blinds eat me alive, then i am forced to play bad hands. This is after a couple of hours playin the tourney.

Generally once the blinds start getting huge, everyone has to start playing mediocre hands. There's a good article on MTT's in the strategy section, check it out. If you're lasting deep into the tourney you're probably playing solid, so pay more attention to the stuff about playing in later rounds. All Ax hands, pp, Kx go up in value while suited connectors & such go down. If you post HH of some problem hands you've had, there are a lot of folks here that can help disect them & give advice on what you could have done differently.

I think Mparker has covered it pretty well (lots of great stuff on this site to guide you through these situations).
Only thing I might add is that if you are making it to the later rounds but the blinds are eating you up, you need to find a time to become more aggressive before that happens (that is, don't wait until you are in trouble before you start trying to steal some blinds or catch a cheap flop with a moderate hand). There's a transition between early and late round play - it's not a sudden shift. |

As the "pro's" advise, if your down to 8XBB and card dead, in position and holding paint, ( except against the chip leader ) push to steal. Providing you have a tight rep.
