To Muck, or Not to Muck? I have been in the mind set of almost always mucking my cards whenever possible...win, lose, or fold. Occasionally, I will show them....if I bluffed and won so that I can play a good hand with them thinking I'm bluffing, and visa versa. But my question is, how often should you muck? A few times, I've seen the words 'maybe you're not bluffing enough' so I started thinking, even if I'm bluffing, if I never show my cards, how would anyone know if I'm bluffing or not? May seem like an easily answered question, but I tend to over analyze everything, so I figured to save my time (and my bankroll-lol) it would probably be best justto ask...so thank you for any input you can provide...

re: Poker & To Muck, or Not to Muck? I have seen this question before and the majority of responses is "almost never". The only time I might show is in a game with players I play with a lot (some forum games) and then it is a social part of the game. In a game with total strangers "Never" comes to mind. Good Luck!

There is no reason to show. Many people say that they show so that they will make people think the next time or whatever, but that is the biggest load of BS. I'd say probably 90% of the time, the showers themselves forget who/what they've shown, so really it's just an excuse for stupidly giving information to the other players.

re: Poker & To Muck, or Not to Muck? I was called out the other day and questioned on my poker etiquette because i had been VPIP for 6 hands in a row. I was catching good cards and better flops. I was playing quite agro and after the 6th hand the last fold showed me their AA which had my KK beat. i mucked and the guy became upset because i didnt show. the turn had come off but no river he folded when i c/r him. I told him that if he wanted to see my cards he would need to pay up. Is this wrong?

Think I can count on one hand the times I've shown in the past year. With someone I know if they are taking a long time to decide to call me... when they fold I may show them they made the right call.... emphasis may LOL Otherwise... no payee, no peekee is my motto
