| More Books? I just ordered 'The Psychology of Poker' and am looking to get three or four more. I dont want to spend more than 120. I mainly play SnG and a few live tournies and a 200nl live ring. I put in between 15-30 hours per week trying to decipher whether I should raise or fold or rebuy. My play style is TAG with a capacity to get aggrowild here and there. Books I already have Gordons Little Mean Greeny Harrington on HE: Cash V1, Tourney V1 Books I am thinking about getting: Moshmans Sit n Go Strategy Schmidts Treat Your Poker Like a Business Iveys Journal Thanks Guys |

Moshmann's book is good for sure (for SNG). Another one you might want to consider is, "Kill Everyone" (the newest edition with the supplement from Elky). For NLHE Tournament poker.. Harrington on Holdem Vol.1 & 2, but then an every way cooler book than these is, "Winning Poker Tournaments - One Hand At A Time" by Rizen, Apestyles & Pearljammer (Eric Lynch, Jon VanFleet & Jon Turner, put together by Matt Hilger). Ask anyone who's read it, what their fav. poker book is... and guaranteed they'll tell you that this is the shit. (there's just been a 2nd edition released but I haven't read it.... 'yet'). The books I've mentioned above aren't just the only other books I've read on poker. I've actually read well over 50 now but these are the best for NLHE MTT play imo. You can often pick up alot of books via 'inter-library book loans'. The book you've just purchased Pshchology of Poker is one (of many) I loaned out this way (twice actually, about a yr. apart). It's an ok book but am glad I loaned it & didn't purchase it. |

| Thanks Orifice. The Harrington books are some of my faves, cash and tourney though Ive only read Vol. 1. I'll look up those other ones. I dont mind buying a few right now as my roll has grown enough to cover some learning costs. As for the Falcons fan, it might be worth reading a book or two. You're on this forum right? And you're reading posts about poker, i.e. learning by reading Thanks EVERYONE! This site has really helped my game. Its pretty sick. I am really grateful |

| re: More Books? poker Collin Moshman's book for sure. "Winning Poker Tournaments One Hand at a Time" is a great book. Vol. 2 is supposed to be out sometime soon. Honestly when it comes down to it there are only a few books you really need depending on what you play and where you play. |
