| Miracle on 5th Street? More money then skill: A bankroll story... Ok, here is my question I have been playing $1 and $2 18-man SNGs on FT for a couple months. I have had what I would expect to be normal beatings from Mr. Variance, but getting to the point where solid poker is +EV for me is complicated when Mr. Cluetrain calls down my KK with J3o (because his girlfriend likes the hand) and rivers a set. This is not a bitching post, I don't want it to be, I just wanted to illustrate the field. I have the means to roll myself into higher limits, but like I said, I have only really been playing for a few months now, and was curious if I would see better play at the 5-10 range? I know what is coming.. "donks give you the wins" and they do, I think, to a certain point, but when you have to adjust your play to the point you are playing the lottery sometimes, it just doesn't seem to balance out. Ideas? |

| Yeah, I am able to cash in roughly 2/3 of the games, pending minor flux of course. I have started playing 10NL on FT as well as bumping up to the $5.50 STT SNGs and I think im having better runs (lots of cardschat and sklansky helping me here) Thanks for the advice guys, see ya all at the final table |
