| Is the maths on the flop correct here? after a raise in late position, there is only one other player seeing the flop. You are on a flush draw.. the odds of hiitting are about 1:4. You are deep stacked. The opponent has a 50% fold to flop bet. Can I happily take 8:1 on that bet? reasoning? half of the time he should fold. The other half im getting 4:1 which is still fine for the flush draw. |

| I'm not sure what a fold to flop bet is but the chance of hitting a flush on the turn, and if you miss, on the river are both approximately 20% (or about 35% chance of hitting it either on the flop or river). If you expect them to continue to bet on the turn, you should only be calling a bet at around 1:5. If they might not, then somewhere around 1:3 may be a much more fair tradeoff. |
