low pocket pairs

what should i do when i'm raised and i have a pocket pair lower than tens pre flop, shoud i re raise call or just fold or just listen to my gut?

All depends on the situation. Just remember, two over cards is pretty much a coin toss.

I rather call as a set value in late position.

What size raise and what is the size of the raiser's stack? Your opponent has to have enough money behind so that if you hit your set you can make enough to make up for all of the times that you don't hit.

It is always sitiuation and opponent specific but as a starting guideline if my opponent is deep stacked and the raise is normal sized I would be inclined to call especially if I am last to act.

If your deep and the raise isn't a lot compared to your stack, I would usually set mine. This, however, is all situational. If your short you might want to shove, it all depends, really.

You should provide a little more info OP.

Stack sizes, Format (tournament or cash), Villain stats, Position, all these things need to be kept in mind before we make our decision.

Get in for as lil as you can and try to hit a set... But like everyone else says, all depends on your stack size and how many players left to act and so forth.. The more hands you play, the more you learn how to use em...

try diffrent ways ov playing your low pp,,, ie call somtimes ,,reraise somtimes,,, if u just keep callin with low pp and u dont hit u gunna bleed of chips,,,if u reraise and u miss u can re prosent a bigger hand by leeadin out bettin
