Looseness and Fields Recently i heard a "rule" from Jonathan Little (WPT Champ 2 times !), he says: the more people are in a tournament, the looser you have to play in the early stages. STT-SNG´s: tight Multitable SNG`s: a little bit looser Normal MTT´s: (even more) looser What´s your opinion ?

I'm not sure I completely agree with the "rule" however I can see what he means I think as the fields get larger the stack size you will need to cash/win will be significantly higher however I would also take the standard of play and buyin into the equation too inti

For a more top heavy tournament structure, we should treat chip expected value (regular pot odds) the same as tournament expected value. So yeah, you can play a little looser in top heavy tournaments compared to SnG's. However, -EV decisions are always bad. Just because a tournament is large, does not mean you should be shoving 22 over UTG raises early in the tournament to try and double up quick. That's not really an opinion thing, either. I hate when people ask for opinions when lots of the time the answer is going to be factual.
