ive heard to keep your raises somewhat consistent to help disguise your hand. "Little Green Book" taught me that...i dont think i have ever heard always 3bet to disguise your hand though... |

| re: looking for some opinions on always opening w/ a 3bet when folded to u poker 3betting every time you enter a hand behind an opener is a combination of spew (when you're 3betting when you shouldn't) and playing tight weak (folding when you shouldn't). I agree w always open raising in HE games. |

| 3betting isn't the size of the raise it's another way to say reraising preflop. the big blind is considered the 1st bet then if someone raises thats a 2bet then if you reraise the opener that would be considered a 3bet. opening to 3x the big blind when folded to is fine but if you playing lower stakes there is really no need. IMO it is better to open your stronger hands for a bigger size bet and your weaker hands for less or you can often go ahead and limp with them. |
