Is it single draw or triple draw? Single draw I've got a vague idea about, triple I don't. Super System has a good guide on single draw (Super System 2 covers triple draw, I believe - don't have a copy of that though).

Is there a particular reason you want to play it? If you're getting dominated, the easiest thing would be to just stick to the games that you know.

Triple draw, and I just found the game very interesting because I noticed a lot of big name pros like to enter in those events for the WSOP and a lot of them are very successfully it just sounds fun.

Alot of the skills of limit holdem apply. Playing position, not playing too many starting hands, making people pay for draws, calling a bluff on end, making a well timed bluff. As far as starting hand requirements, not too sure yet. I'm playing the 6max sitngos. Seems alot of people don't know how to play yet. Competition is pretty weak and occasionally you'll run into someone who doesn't even know the rules.

Makwa, I wouldnt mind learning a few things about 2-7 Triple Draw. If the offer is still good, let me know a place where and when we can set up a table. I would like to be good at all the games. I am probably mediocre in everything at best.

I've only been playing 3 or more cards to a low. Avoid straight draws, 7(5,4,3)2 is a good starting hand. HU in position T high is good against someone on last draw.

Not a big fan of ring game, game works better in a tournament format as you can be more creative.

Firstly, you need to understand rules - 7 5 4 3 2 is best hand. Flush and straights are no good.

If you have 3 of the above 5 numbers then raise, regardless of action before you. If you raise first see how many cards opponents draw - if they draw more than you, keep betting (you should really just keep betting anyway if you raised initially).

Other than that, you should really get Super System 2. You should call on the river with a lot of hands (i.e. Jack high) even if you missed your draw, as opponents often pair up on the river (as you will). But if you are playing it without any real idea of what is going on, a capable player is easily going to take money off of you.

Like Ozexorcist said, buy a copy of Super System 2 and read Daniel's chapter on 2-7 Triple Draw. It will give you all of the basics and then some. Since many folks are new at this game, if you develop your skills, you could accumulate a nice bankroll until other folks catch up on the learning curve.
