Quick question - what is a "normal" 4bet %? I feel like a few regs are starting to 4bet me light, want to do a quick check in PT3, but I don't have a frame of reference.

GL all. I didn't put in much volume in June, but I had a very nice winrate, hope to continue it in July. More importantly, I took a couple shots at 50NL and felt pretty comfortable. I'm studying SSNLHE, and hoping to apply it to my game.

I don't know what a "normal" % would be, but I do know that you would need a LOT of hands on a villain in order for that stat to be remotely accurate.

What's your 3bet %? Unless it's just huge they're much more likely to have big hands than be 4betting light.

Trust me I've been there thinking "well this is the 3rd time I've 3bet this guy and now he's playing back at me so I should push with my 99" only to have them show up with AK/KK+ every time.

Just under 5%, not outrageous - lol at the example, that explains why sometimes people show me 99 when I shoved KK... I'll try to keep my paranoia to a minimum ...

Gunslinger, the guys I was wondering about are guys I have 1K+ hands on, but that stat doesn't converge over 1K hands, does it - good point.

I had vpps on the mind because when I played with some CC ppl at NewVpp 6max 5nl table tonight, the fpps seemed to be adding up almost as fast as 10nl usually does [and no, we weren't shoving/spewing alot]

Will play few hundred hands at 5nl tomorrow to get an idea of what rate they come in at, might be possible for 5nl players to make silverstar now...or maybe I'm wrong. [of course if you played that many hands, should be able to move up before that]

The $/fpp bonuses don't seem to be offered this month though, so silverstar is meaningless again.

So far July hasn't been all that lucky for me. However, there are still thirty lucky days left, hopefully!

Do you happen to know what the newVPP and 5xVPP actually change from the standard tables? I noticed that my VPP's and FPP's seem to be adding up quickly, which is cool (though I'll be happier when PT3's fix for the HUD is available ).

5VPP's per dollar of rake divided by the number of players at the table with partial VPP's possible. It is a change that Stars is testing out at 6max and HU NL tables. Depending on how it goes, it could be implemented at all tables (including full ring) by 2010.

Boy it's nice to have a HUD again!!! I played about 4k hands without the HUD, which meant limiting my play to ABC poker more frequently than I would have liked.

On the other hand, I ran ok - 4.2BB/100... methinks I have some FPS issues...

Are the 2NL and 5NL 6max tables able to accumulate FPP's faster than before?
when I played 5NL 6max at pokerstars it would take about 50 hands or so before you would earn one FPP. Im wondering if its a bit better now?

The actual numbers are very table dependent but you will generally see an improvement over before.

This still may or may not be fully implemented. For now, it will not be implemented on FR tables so as to not upset the SNE pursuers and it's more in a trial phase than anything. This does not mean that it will be implemented for HU and 6max only while not being implemented for FR in the long run.
