I need to learn how to switch from no limit to limit.. any material on the subject?

Hi, Ive been learning poker for about 4 months now, but all the material ive read has pretty much been aimed at no limit.. with the exception of the section in super system... Does anyone know of more good material about the subject.. I know that there has to be some really big differences in play style, and would love to learn how to play both. tyvm for any input, greatly appreciated..

Two books that will teach you a very solid limit game, and both are fairly similar are Small Stakes Hold'em by Miller, Sklansky, and Malmuth and Winning Low Limit Holdem by Lee Jones. Holdem on the Come by Rolf Slotbloom and Dew Mason is another good one that goes into a bit more depth about figuring outs and how and when to draw, and postflop combat. Personally I don't recommend online limit unless you're very good. Seems that the edge available is pretty slim. Live though, if you can read players and situations decent, these three books will have you winning through 4/8 anyway if you apply them correctly.

Unsure which two you mean by both, but if you only went for the first two, I'd recommend picking up the third, being Holdem on the Come. The first two give good advice for your whole game, but focus on preflop play for a lot of the material. Holdem on the Come looks more to the postflop action, which is a very important part of profitable limit holdem.

Also a factor to keep in mind is that these books seem to have more of a fishy player set in mind. During the poker boom these books would have you murdering your table like you wouldn't believe, now it seems in live play the fish have a bit of an idea about odds and whatnot. So keep in mind during your limit play to figure out who looks fishy, but maybe is just adjusting their opening range wide, and playing correctly based on their pot/implied odds postflop. Seem to be a lot of them. Good luck.
