| Hypothetical question: What if equal stacks bust together? I don't know the answer to this, but does anybody know what happens online if equal stacks all get knocked out at the same time? Let's say you're at the final table. Chip counts: You = 10,000 P2 = 2,000 P3 = 2,000 P4 = 2,000 P5 = 2,000 You get Qh/Qd and shove. P2 gets Ad/Kc and calls P3 gets Ah/Kd and calls P4 gets As/Kh and calls P5 gets Ac/Ks and calls The flop is Qs/Qc/7h and you obviously win the showdown. Does everybody else get 2nd place, and split the 2-5th money? What if this is a satellite where only two get paid? |

| Okay found it. If two or more players are eliminated on the same hand, the player with more chips at the beginning of the hand is placed higher. If players started the hands with an identical amount of chips, both players tie for that rank, and any prizes due to those players will be equally distributed between them. In rare cases, two players may be eliminated at the same exact time at two different tables. In such a case, the players will be treated as if they were eliminated on the same hand. |

This is rare. If I had queens there and that happened - I'd have a heart attack. Last edited by atlantafalcons0 : 27th April 2010 at 10:19 PM. |
