HU SnG Micro Limits

Winning strategy goes like this:

** If opponent bets pre-flop:
a) Has a ace or
b) Has a pocket pair

** If opponent calls a bet or leads out on the flop he has hit the flop.

** Don't bluff.

** Value you bet with 2nd pair or better

Does that just about cover it?

not too sure about that...
been playing quite a few micro HU SnG this weekend.
I find that it's best to think about what you want to show your opponent (strength, weakness, etc.) and play accordingly.
even in micro-stakes, you can run into players who will try to bluff you out of a pot and sometimes showing coyness or just strength will get them to fold

You can only get your money in good. Tough weekend so far. I put someone all-in 5 times...and they got bailed out each time. Nothing you can really too much about that. Quads showing up twice in one match, didn't exactly boost morale.

this probably doesnt apply to micro HU but you should be raising most of the time pre. your not playing your hand, your playing your opponents hand. think about your hands for example. how often do you get total shit hands preflop? most of the time, so logically so does your opponent. i think most players know enough not to play most of the shit hands. but you have to change this depending on how your opponent is playing
