| Have you imported your hand histories onto PT3? If so, you can look up your own username, and under the "General" tab, get an overview of how you've fared at each limit you've played. There it will tell you, among other things, your BB/Hour and $/Hour. However, for Cash games, BB/100 (how many big bets you can expect to win over 100 hands on average) is generally regarded as the more useful unit for gauging how well you're doing. For tournaments, your win rate is usually expressed as your ROI (return on investment). Both of these units only really start becoming meaningful over a large sample size; 10s if not 100s of thousands of hands for cash games and several thousand games for tournaments. |

| PT3 will do fine, I doubt either HEM or PT3 have any significant advantage over the other. The essence of both is to track and record what you do in poker. Both individually via hands, sessions (tourney's), and in general like over time. Having been with PT3 since its inception, one of the few things I wish it had, was a bankroll function that I could edit easily to account for things like money added tourney's. But truthfully, there are so many things in it that I am not currently using nor explored, that it really might already be there. Lesson here is to learn PT3 since you have it. |
