How to stay off tilt I don't have a problem with other players, but I often find myself doing it to myself. I.E. I only play decent hands, and I can't seem to ever catch decent hands in a row. I get myself on tilt by throwing away hands and then watching my bankroll slowly go down when there isn't anything I can do about it. I know that playing tight can be a lot better, but I just need some advise to keep myself from freaking out. "thanks"

there's already a massive thread about this in the strategies. dont catch big hands in a row, make your big hands pay off, and multi table, keeps ur mind at ease an makes you play less of those laggy hands, if your rolled correctly you'll have no problem with 2 tabling at first. Also, don't force the action just because you're card dead. Poker's a marathon not a sprint.

It makes a lot of sense, I wish I could get involved in more free rolls, but I just don't have the time. And when I do, like right now because it is 3:19am and I just got done with school, and I tried to sit down and play and I did for about an hour, that is about all I can handle.

What site are you playing on? Do they have micro limit Turbo SnGs? If they do, I'd advise playing them, they last between 30-40 minutes and generally x5 your buy-in. Try not to worry yourself so much on racing to build bankroll, take it steady and safe, you'll keep a clear mind then. How much do you have to play around with? If you want I can probably give you a few pointers an tips. I'm no guru but i've got a solid understand for micro limit cash and SnGs . Send me a PM if you fancy a chat an i'll chat to you on msn at some point if ya like. PM me.
