| how to set my cash game filter I've set my filter on pokerstars so that it only shows games where the players seeing the flop are 40% and higher.Am I doing the right thing?I'm trying to find loose games where I can play tight and agressive and make some money. |

| I set my filters to much lower than 40%. Playin' micros not even sure what I set it at? (20-25%+ ?). I look for 'big avg. pots', bigger the better. I also find it's not always great to just play uber tight vs. the loose fish (micros), I actually prefer to LAG it up a bit &/or call with pos. with sm pr's & SC's & AXs hands - - hands that are likely to win huge pots when you hit. I'll change up my play 'depending upon the table'. |

| 6 max or Full Ring(FR). It makes a difference. For 6 max I use 25-30% to a flop and an average pot size of about 15-20bbs(big blinds) but for 2nl you could maybe go higher. I havent played FR in a while so I cant help you there. You could also just take a look at what the current tables are showing and eliminate the bottom 70% or something like that. |
