How long do you stay at a table? I know there's a ton of "it depends" in this question, but I've noticed that there's always one or two tables that seem less active than all the others I'm playing. I steal the blinds here and there so I'm not losing, but I'm starting to wonder if after 100 hands and I'm still even if it's time to bail. Just for the sake of argument, we're talking microstakes, and I usually look for tables with over 40% see the flop/ over 70 hpr.

I play at microstakes. I ussualy played untill all the fish were broke at the table. But since i took some bad beats from fish that after losing all their stack to me, brought all entire bankroll starting to follow me untill the river and geting lucky sometimes, i leave the table after i double up. Double up than leave ... hunting other fish. This way i do not loose all the money i earn cose i kinda go all in on the turn when i have the best hand and i know the fish is folowing a draw, and most of the fish will go with me hoping they will get lucky. And sometimes they are. So little by little on the long run even at microstakes i can make good profit.

re: How long do you stay at a table? poker I only play a tiny amount of cash, but when I have put in a session I will leave when the table tightens up. At this point there are going to be better spots on other tables. Have a look at you tables flop seen % in the lobby. Other factors like tilt or being tired will mean I leave the table too.

i usually leave the table when any of the following happen 1.) full of regs 2.) 3 or more shortstacks 3.) fish leave 4.) avg pot declines 5.) table starts to break up ( only 6 or 7 players sitting) any of those and its time to find a new table

What others said above is what you should be looking at. So in your case if you are even at 100 hands and the fish have left and the table is now tight or full of a bunch of regs, it would be time to go. However, if you are even at 100 hands and the table is still loose and the fish are still there, you should hang around, you'll get paid off eventually. |

Definitely going to start paying more attention to changes in the table make up, I think this is something I've been missing. TPC - funny you jumped in here, I learned a lot about table selection from watching a video by you and Chiefer, and my question partially came from that - thanks, man.
