half decent game plan? Hey all I have majorly negeclted my game laetly for personal reasons, but Hhave decided to hit the tables full on again. Now I have a study plan just wondering if someone can give advice. Now I plan to learn micro limit holdem, I want to become a good stratergy player as well as maths, I am rereading ther threory of poke and small stakes holdem. When I have progress through the limits I want to get into no limit. here is my question, this seems like a viable plan, but I have inherieted alot of poker books and have no idea where to start. I am reading the mentioned books at the moment, Are there any other recommendations of what book to start with to give me solid foundation of poker?? Warmest new year regards Sticks

poker for dummies is a good start, it got alot of good tips and it can help your game alot. then another good book is the super system by doyle. there are alot of good books to look, but the real learn is at the tables, most book look at different styles of play but it up to you to use then or not

re: half decent game plan? poker super systems are always a good start. I reckon the best and cheapest method is just to read articles you find online from respected sites or people.. and then just learn at the tables as you go. Start playing at limits where losses wont hurt you and expect to lose for a start. You'll learn best through experience
