if u cant handle the donks u shouldnt play at all they annoy me 2 sometimes but fact is there will always b people that are making weird moves in other peoples eyes and sometimes you have to make a weird move yourself just to stay alive in a tourny so everyone is a donk sometimes
if you really wanna avoid them try a 5000k buyin or a 5000k bb cashgame on FT (but dont start complaining when gus kicks you out with like 7-4 in his hand)
but then ul probally say you get knocked out by the great gus hansen but if a regular guy kicks u out with the same hand hes a donk.....
well....good luck at the >5000k's

Why wouldn't you want to play against donkeys?

I've seen donkeys in $1000 dollar tourneys that i watched before so I think you are out of luck there.

Exactly. And even some of the higher buy-ins ($200+) have donkeys which is just good for you.

The way to avoid the donkeys is to buy-in to the 50k HORSE

OOPS! "K" = (x1000)

5K = 5,000
50K = 50,000
500K = 500,000
5000K = 5,000,000

I dont even think the PRO's play at 5000K BB's

Dont mind me... Just being technical.

Donkey- no such beast in poker!

It doesn't matter what level of poker you play, you will always have bad players. from a .10 - $10,000 tourney there are bad plays and bluffs that turn out to be suck outs.

Poker consists of the following
-newbie (green) someone who just started playing.
-regulars someone who has been playing for a while or been playing for decades.
-pros someone who plays for a living.

my advice is to take advantage of the newbie, have fun with the regulars, and if you have a bank roll play with pros from time to time.

Donks!!

You would be much better off playing against crazy players than pros, thats for sure. You'll cash most of the time if u play cards right. It's the good player who traps and sees flops that you should worry about
