Good fold .. Don't go by the villain's hand or the fact that you would have flopped a set. That would be being result oriented which is bad. We just had a medium pair which is usually a fold to a 20x open raise. Not putting in too much money pre flop with medium pairs is a good idea for the long run. Obviously make a note on the villain, eye his chips then lick your chops. :smokin:

Good fold, mid pair vs. 20x raise = fold
mid pair vs.20x raise and a call = fold faster

1. 77 is an insta-fold to a 20x raise with a prior caller.

2. The fact that the flop had a 7 is irrelevant. Condition yourself to ignore the board as it relates to any hand you fold preflop. Making decisions based on what would have happened will only teach you bad habits.

Thanks, I am starting to avoid mid pairs, and like the outcome.
Only way they play if in head's up on a tight table.
Not even worth raising OTB if you still get 4 callers.
