decided to play my first real sng at full tilt. .30+.05 satilite to BLT 9 players 1 entry 2nd gets .50. 3 hands won it for me. AJ>J5, 88>A3&QK.(hit trips.) and JJ>AQ. Easy 2.20. I did win a coinflip but played really well. Up to $30 dollars now! Still need to win my first mtt as i never can get past 3rd. One day...

okeedokalee, I dont think I'm going to play. I heard its like playing a freeroll and I'd rather take the tounrey dollars. Right now I've stopped freerolling and began playing cash games

It's nice getting that first win. I've only ever won a MTT with 300 entrants. Can't seem to do one with 4k people in. Can usually hit the money and finish in top 50 in a 7k one before. It just becomes more push push push and a lot of luck required to get to that final table. Then you can kind of play poker again I guess.

Do you actually use any kind of extra software ( like the odds calculator) and tables advising on when to bet and when to fold? Or did u get lucky with cards ?

stick to good br management and you should be able to build from there in my limited exp the first $20 is usually the hardest
